Meet the Artist

​Hey doodz! PurrpleCloudCatt here, bringing you your daily dose of cats, nature, whimsy and childhood nostalgia! I grew up in rural Wisconsin in the early 2000's, in which much of my life has consisted of stray cats, dairy desserts, animal toys, video games, and (of course) anime!

I did attend MIAD (Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design) for two years, then decided to take my illustration career into my own hands! It was a leap of faith, and one I absolutely don't regret one bit. However, I still hang out with the friends I made there, and still chat with my former professors to this day!

The number one priority in my work is always to serve warmth and comfort, bringing anyone who views my work to simpler, more optimistic (or perhaps naïve) times. In a world full of constant and relentless bustle and noise, the escapism found in my work is quite healing-- even for myself!
